Indoor Rug Maintenance
Regular Rotation
To promote even wear and extend the life of your rug, rotate it every six months. This is particularly important in high-traffic areas or where furniture covers part of the rug. Uneven foot traffic and vacuuming can cause visible wear patterns over time—rotating the rug helps distribute use more uniformly.
If your rug is exposed to direct sunlight, rotate it periodically to prevent uneven fading. Consider installing window coverings to reduce UV exposure and preserve the rug’s original colours.
Vacuuming
Vacuum your rug weekly to remove dust, dirt if necessary,
When vacuuming:

Use soft suction-only settings.

Avoid power heads, beater bars, or rotating brushes—especially on long-pile rugs as these can damage the fibres.

Do not vacuum the edges, as this may cause fraying over time.
Spot Cleaning
Address spills immediately to prevent staining:

Professional Cleaning
For a deep clean and to maintain the rug’s appearance, schedule professional cleaning every 12 months. if needed. This helps remove embedded dirt and prolongs the rug’s life.
Outdoor Rug Maintenance
Only use rugs specifically designed for outdoor use.
To clean:

Allow the rug to air dry completely in the sun on a flat hard floor before returning it to use.
